The UK currently has well over 1 million citizens on social housing waiting lists. National Housing Party United Kingdom campaign for a complete halt to permanent settlement immigration.

NHPUK Statement on Refugees:

In an ideal world, temporary refugee camps should be available for genuine refugees. Full citizenship of the host nation should never be granted, and whenever a refugee’s country becomes safe, they should return back to their homeland.

The 1951 UN Refugee Convention changed all of this. Refugees claiming asylum in any of the countries signed up to this convention are given an automatic right of full citizenship.

NHPUK campaign to leave the 1951 UN Refugee Convention and completely stop accepting refugees for citizenship. Well over one million refugees have settled permanently in the UK and have consumed huge amounts of resources when most of them could have been returned to their own countries by now.

The UK is trillions of pounds in debt and is not in a position to help any future refugees. If the one million plus refugees had returned to their homelands, then the UK may have been able to help more refugees on a temporary basis.

NHPUK say we have helped more than enough refugees over the years, especially considering the size of the UK compared to the rest of the world. NHPUK do not seek to remove any refugees who have already been granted full U.K. citizenship.

After reading this, anyone who still thinks the UK should accept more refugees and is happy to take one or more into their home and financially support them, then NHPUK would not be against temporary ‘refugee visas’ being granted.

With millions of working class people in the U.K. not even allowed to go on the social housing waiting list, no more refugees should be housed by the UK Government.

We also campaign to exit the UN Human Rights Convention and the European Court Of Human Rights (ECHR).
